Polly-O is a Big Fun Boogie Woogie Blues Band, perfoming rearranged rock classics into funky fun dance rhythyms The Big Easy funk of New Orleans is clearly present in the music. Covering the Doctor of the keys Dr. John, C.J. Chenier the king of Zydeco, The Grateful Dead, The Band, The Mavericks and crossing down to Jimmy Buffetville and singing the island ditties you know by heart. The band's performances always include musical participation from the audience wether it's a bunch of boppers banging the tamborine or rubbing the washboard. Every venue becomes an instant dance floor and sometimes the top of the bar too.
The band is a eclectic consortium of musicians who together have 30 plus years of vast performance experience in the NY tri-state area from Massachusetts to New Jersey and shared the stage with many music notables such as Southside Johnny, John Hall of Orleans, Commander Cody, Mike Falzerano of NRPS, Roomful of Blues, The Good Rats, and Black 47 to name a few. Founded by Norah Kelleher and John Condon of T’Bazco Road a tenured Zydeco, Boogie and Blues from Long Beach, NY
